Hi All
I have just recondition my rear disc & calliper, Mk 111 1975, I also decided to change my brake fluid, to PENRITE SIN 600+, the problem is that I can't get it to bleed completely, as there are many fine, minuscule air bubbles in the fluid.
Any suggestions or ideas will be gratefully accepted and possibly acted on.

Hi
Try new tack, remove synthetic fluid replace with Dot 4, seems to have solved the problem. At least now I'm not dancing on the pedal every time I've needed to stop.
Thank anyway!

I had the same problem and I solved it by pumping the brake with the rear master cylinder in the highest position in relation to the caliper.

To adjust the disk you have to disassemble the rear wheel.
I have a problem!
When I squeeze the axle the wheel locks, yet all pieces are in place!
Sugestions?

Hi
When you removed the rear wheel, did you leave the chain and sprocket in place, or did you take the chain off then remove the wheel and sprocket as a unit? I am also presuming that when you say squeeze the wheel you are not over tightening the axle nuts? Also try and fit a 25 thou feeler between the disc and the pads. Else better brains are needed than mine.

Hi Chili,

I have removed all the wheel including the sprocket chain.
If I understand you say could be diet pills of the hindering caliper on disc?.
Ciao.
Piero

Hi Chili

Not all brake fluids are compatible. Found this at a race meeting when I was given dot 5 it never bled properly.
