Rear chain length

i am currently running a 20 tooth gearbox sprocket with a 99 pitch rear chain. If I install a 21 tooth sprocket can I still use the 99 pitch rear chain as-is, or would I need to add a half link?
 
If it is a 99 pitch chain then it must already have a half-link.
 
Yes, you are right. So, then, is this chain long enough to run a 21 tooth sprocket?
