Here's a piccy of my MKIII with Brembo caliper fitted to the rear. I thinks it's P2.34 Goldline that was fitted to the rear of various Ducatis in the late 90' till early this decade. I have mounted it on some 7mm (1/4inch) dural and did not need to offset the arrangement with spacers. Anyone want a close up just let me know.

Most have seen this before but....

It's a late style Brembo (Ducati) caliper on a mid to late '90's (carbureted) Ducati SS CR or Monster rear caliper mount. The disc is also Brembo (Ducati) with an aluminum disc adaptor to the hub. The caliper mount must have the thickness reduced from the outside and the axle bore opened slightly with a hand reamer. A short spacer from the caliper mount to the swingarm is easily fabbed with a drill and a hacksaw. Saves a ton of unsprung weight and matches the front Brembo nicely.

Thanks Ron, that looks very nice. Is the front 40mm or 65mm centre caliper ?
What is the disc ?
And centre?

I have nearly finished a Mk3 which came with an AP racing caliper, see the picture taken before the rebuild.
It is the only thing I'm not happy with, as far as looks go. The Mk3 setup with the caliper forward of the forks doesn't help.
I've had the standard master cylinder sleeved to 12mm, but I haven't ridden the bike yet, waiting on tank and side covers to came back from the painter.

Any suggestions?

I admire your bike, very nice indeed.
Thanks for the pictures.

Hi, I'll post some close ups when I'm next in the garage. I like the front Brembos and will be going this way eventually. The only problem with the MKIII is that the caliper trails the fork slider and thus most Brembos calipers will be incorrectly mounted - which could lead to insurance issues here in the UK as the smaller of the pistons in a 4 pot must bite on the leading edge of a disc as it does when mounted behind the forks. The other option is a 4 pot Pretech caliper which can be finished in any colour to suit, being local I might just nip and see what the have. I do like the caliper on the Norvil, but again trying to find someone to make up a carrier hub here in the UK might be problomatic.
