I seem to remember something about the riveted paddles. I can't remember if they are good or bad. Early or late?

Carefully drill out rivets and replace. Probably never happens as the sprocket will probably be worn before anything goes wrong with the paddles.

I had to replace a drum last year after the paddles came loose. These cast iron sprockets tend to last a long time. In my case longer than the paddles.

What you're remembering is that the early type was a bolt in version and it is a recommended upgrade to go to the rivet type as you have.
