Rear axle

Installed new cush drives. When I tighten rear axle it locks rear wheel. It's definitely not the brakes.

Something's not in the right place. Pull it back apart and check it according to an exploded view.

I had some issues with new cushes in the Titanic's hub. They were very hard and made it difficult to get everything assembled. Had to grind some of them down to make a better fit and the drum/sprocket still shows a gap to the hub.

Maybe the speedometer drive is not properly seated into the hub ring?

Did this same boo-boo once. Drove me to drink (a short drive) until I figured it out. Good thing to take a look at. Keep us posted.

Installed a single piece rear axle and had no problems for the past three years. Now, the nut is working itself free. PITA but I have to get inside to take a look. Grease on the axle required??
