Rear axle question mk2 850 1974

Hey guys,

i had to change my rear speedo and I dismantled the rear axle.

Can you tell me if I have to change something. The bearing seems kind of loose. Does it need to be tight?

thats not a bearing, that is the stub axle, the bearing is separate behind that, what you see is normal.

normal - if my 74 Mk2 is normal. just serviced the bearing on my 74 - the bearing was pressed in place.- there is also a circlip. there was some play between the (fixed) bearing and the dummy axle as shown in your video. seems to "float" a bit in the rear hub, and i'm assuming normal.
