I’ve always used 18”front and rear, so am totally clueless with anything else.

I’m now in the market for 19” front / 18” rear racing tyres.

Any recommendations ?

Very limited choices. I have 19" front and rear on my GT500, 90/90 front and 100/90 rear. Avon AM26. The Lansdowne control tyre!

They have better choices in 18" rear, AM23 in 130/70, AM 26 in other sizes.

And being Avon, you will have difficulty with supply as they are dropping some sizes altogether and some are just short supply with the move to Germany.....Oh! and prices on the up, big time.

For current stock try TGA or Windy Shed Classics. https://windyshedclassicsltd.co.uk/product-category/tyres

Heidenau do a 19" front, but in an imperial size! And it's a weird block tread thing!

Continental don't do 19", Nor do Pirelli.

Is there anything else? I have looked and found nothing.

Yeah the 90/90 19 AM26 and 110/80 18 AM22 rear would seem ideal for this application Steve. I’ve been an Avon man for years, so these would be the natural choice. You’re not wrong about the prices mind…!

I would like to hear from anyone whose run the Heidenau race tyres tho…

The racing tyre problem might be with the demand rather than the supply. Those guys who race Manx Nortons and G50 Matchlesses in the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy at Goodwood, must get their tyres from Fort Knox.
There are probably not enough people who race classic bikes to justify the production.
When this happens to ducks, they either just tuck their heads under their wings, and gp to sleep, or they fly away.

I cannot remember where tyres were made in Australia before we became really stupid.

I run Heidenaus on my Rickman and my Fury, but all 18". I love them, very little scrubbing in, great in the wet, probably not the right choice for really hot conditions, they can squirm, but you won't get it that hot in the UK.

But you can't get the front I like in 19".

We use Heidenau on the CB250, two sets in 7 years. OK both wet and dry. They are popular on the CB350 too. The T20 just got Conti. The RDLC and the Manx has Avon. So far nothing to complain about. All of them 18", except the Manx.
