Yes RIP Sir Captain Moore a very inspiring man , no quit in him , at all , sad news to hear of his passing ...
 
R.I.P but near impossible to believe he was not shielded from the Virus only to be infected.

I won't ask why, but he was on holiday in Barbados, so he never got the chance to get the virus jab as he was assumed to have had pneumonia which was later when he got back to Blighty, diagnosed as coronavirus - so his lucky stars were not with him on this occasion.
May he R.I.P. and as a mark of respect for him, the P.M. has ordered the flags to fly at half mask.
 
I think a good deal of folk have been at half mask for the last 10 months.

He was also a motorcycle racer in his earlier years. Scott squirrel. His machine is on loan to the Bradford industrial museum.

A statement released by his family revealed that he had been tested regularly for COVID-19 between December 9 and January 12 and each test returned negative.
“Whilst in hospital he received a pneumonia diagnosis. In addition, as with other patients, he was tested regularly for COVID-19.
“On January 22, Tom was discharged from hospital back to the family home where he felt most comfortable. Unfortunately he was left still fighting pneumonia and tested positive for COVID-19 that day.
