R.I.P. … great Canadian Gordon Lightfoot

Lightfoot never moved to USA , he made it happen from his beloved homeland … “True North Strong & Free”

RIP Gordon - one of my faves . In the early 1970’s I bought a Guild D 35 from a small music shop here in NJ run by a guy named Ed McGlincey . Ed was a pretty respected luthier among the folk scene and he showed me a twelve string he was building for Gordon - wonder if he still had it . Still have my Guild and at 50 years old now it just rings for hours .

I will miss him.
