Quick question...Con Rod nuts

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question. What size are the Con Rod nuts? Damned if I can find any reference to the size in the manual. I must be having a boy look, as the Mrs says, lol.

Somewhere in the grey cells a voice says 1/4" Whitworth

Is that correct?

Yes. Remember there is a malformed rod seat for bolt head scrapping an Al sliver off issue under seating to check and correct. Measuring the stretch .0065" is best way to seat them over torque readings, though pretty close when I monitored both at times.

I think they're 3/8 BSC, but I'm sure Les will tell us for sure.
