Peter. If you could imagine the USA in bloc with the Americas, and you were sick of them all coming in and claiming health care, housing and taking all the pin money jobs our British wives depended on. Then you vote them out cos they bring nothing. That's Britain now! We have East Europeans, Asians and the rest taking everything we've worked hard for. Before you say you already have it. Take a look at the size of our countries and the money we have!

concerning immigration. For 5 yrs i'd like it stopped then looked at after that! give my grandchildren a bloody chance

How could you be expected to support a potential flood of new arrivals? I assume as EU residents they would be expected to pay taxes etc...

pay taxes? most of them receive benefits. we haven't the infrastructure in this country to accommodate these people. they come here and are looked after straight away. Our ex servicemen are living rough on the streets! My retirement age has gone up just as I approach it.

If what you are saying is true why would anyone vote for a system that allows that to happen? Certainly half of the UK is not that..... Stupid? (Oh the irony!)

It is in the English culture to just put up with it because "that's the way it is etc" that's why it was such a shock to many that we voted out of Europe !!
It's shocking that we are still not out!!!! And even more shocking that some want to run the vote again because they don't like the result!!!!

I have worked with lots of eastern European's whom have all been superb workers and pay their taxes without issue. I want out because of all the fraud, fiddling and money wasting by the people lining their pockets in Brussels. Not immigration ! That doesn't mean I fully agree with our land of milk n honey to everyone who comes here for free, and the minority that then moan and want to blow us up. Rant over, it's a big world

never in my life has anyone I know or myself before ever had to hide our food at work. i'd love to see the east Europeans you work with. they bear no resemblance to those ive worked with. and they've kept my wages down for the last 15 years

Poles, Estonians, Romanians etc. All have been superb, and have sometimes left me for dust with their work ethic. Can only speak as I find. Maybe different trades work in different ways.

I have similar experiences here, I work with South American/Mexican folks usually everyday.
It is usually the older guys, born elsewhere who work like crazy, never complain and are always smiling. The second gen guys, usually my age or younger can be a little lazy but still hard workers. Conclusion, Americans are lazy!
Just kidding, but it really burns me up when folks rip on immigrants from South of the border. Those folks travelled thousands of miles and risked their lives to be here. Don't blame them for working for less $$ than you, blame your employer for selling you out.

There should also be the offered three jobs and if none taken , then benefits removed for our own lazy bastards
