Progrips

Yes, I recall reading that and ordering some for my two shakers, the 650ss and BSA650 Super Rocket.
The pro-grips helped a lot.

Getting the right seat foam ( new rather than petrified for starters) helped with seat vibes.

FE - I thought you were having a break from tinkering? Quite a good price on these though, is it really worth doing, I would have perhaps gone for rizoma ones at many times the price for the look but will have to test the standard ones out again when I get my 961 back soon.

IMHO the grips are well worth doing, it’s a 5 minute job. Definite increase in comfort / controllability.

A break from tinkering...? Yeah right... I often say that. It’s never true for long though! Just finished (current batch of) tinkering with the young uns grandad today...

The trophies on the top shelf caught my eye and I wad impressed... then I saw your collection of hammers and my eyes popped, 4 more than in my toolbox!

You can’t just whack everything with a lump hammer you know.

A man needs to have the right hammer for the job...

Although I confess two claw hammers is an extravagance...!

Thanks for the workshop compliments guys.

“A tidy shop is tidy mind” !

Nothing wrong with a bit of OCD once in a while eh?

Actually, they’re for ‘best hammer collection’ and ‘most impressive use of hammer skills’.

Honest...

Well, talking of hammer skills, how about this pic of me having lessons from Dave Degens...

(It’s the picture on the wall above the fire extinguisher)

Circa ‘96 and I’m off work ‘on the sick’ with broken arm and bruised ankles after cartwheeling the bike big style at Cadwel Park (exiting Charlie’s).

I’m at Dave Degens place and he’s helping me nail it back together. I got the bike finished and the plaster cast off the day before the next meeting, so avoided missing out on any fun!

Them were t’days !!
