Just wanted to share that I recently installed some PROGRIP 717 for my SE. I am in shock of how much of a difference they made. My pinky fingers no longer go numb. I'm sure there are many others that compete or are a lot better but these were recommended to me and they had great ratings so I tried them out. If you have stock grips, change them out immediately!! I heard of changing grips before but I didn't feel the OEM Norton ones were bad at all. Boy was I wrong!!!

I mounted PROGRIP 724 last autumn, because the OEM ones were finished after 17'000 miles of riding. I am happy with the new grip as well...

Hello Richard and Raphi , Can you tell us about the grips ? Are they thicker , more padding , ? I think these are 7/8" bars on the ends ? How about colors .

I actually like the 961 grips for their softness and grip, but my fingers do get numb. A touch of carpal tunnel. Thanks for the tip.

I have the impression that they are a little bit thicker than the OEM ones, but not much. I did choose for the black and blue colouring. I think it was 22 mm (=7/8")...

I thought the same until I tried these. For the price, major upgrade.

I've got pro-grip 714 on several different bikes. Once i tried them I was sold on them and I've found them on ebay for as low as $7.30 . One of the first changes I made on the 961. Also on Ducatis , Norvin and Honda so far. I didn't put them on bikes with heated grips though.

Good to know because I was actually told about the 717 and the 714 as "the grips to get" but the 714 was out of stock locally so I opted for the 717. Maybe I'll get those and try them to compare. I tell yeah, I rode to work today and am still shocked by how much of a difference a grip can make.

I'm going to try some of these on my 650ss. It gets a little buzzy around 70 mph.
I've been looking at the Kuryakin Isos, since the Harley guys rate them highly, and they really know about vibes.
The Kuryakins are about $100 CDN per pair!
