Yes, on the throttle side you have to cut all of the grip away so it doesn't interfere with the throttle closing.So. I want to put a bar end mirror on the throttle side
I have the larger turmsio touring grips. My question is:
Do I just take a razor and cut the end of the grip creating a hole for the bar end mirror?

A grommet punch would be nice but they aren't lurking in every tool chest. You can make one from EMT conduit or iron pipe. If you sharpen the bevel on the outside of the pipe, the inside diameter will be the size of hole it cuts. So 3/4" pipe or conduit would provide a 3/4" hole. If you sharpen the bevel on the inside of the pipe then the outer diameter will be the size of the cut. EMT conduit is 0.92 inches, iron pipe is 1.050". A Dremel tool makes fast work of cutting the the bevel.
