It looks like my 750 Atlas/Commando is in need of a rebore. It currently has Hepolite Powermax pistons at +30 and I'm hoping that boring it to +40 will clean up the bores.

The thing is, I have spent a while setting up valve to piston clearance ( it's got a PW3 cam), squish clearance, rocker geometry etc and I'd really like to get a pair of pistons with the same crown profile so I don't have to start all over again.

So my question is, does anyone supply Powermax pistons or replicas of them?

Thanks
John

If you can't find any, it might be worthwhile contacting Omega pistons in the UK, I know they will make (or used to make ) one off products, obviously at a price I guess. But they might allready have the specs.

I thought I had the last pair of powermax pistons way back in the 1980s. Highly doubtful that you'll find any. You could have them copied but it will be expensive. There's only one other brand of domed Norton pistons currently available that I know of.

Hi.
I have a pair of +0,30 GPM pistons with domed head.
They are not Dunstall marked.
What pistons they are?
May be for Combat engine?.
Thanks.

If these are domed, they will not work under a combat head, combat camshaft unless modifications are made....not enough clearance.
