Poor bugger

I think there are enough mad people out there for him to come out of this with little to no loss, currently at £30K.

Poor bugger may become lucky bugger ;)

Quite a story , hard to understand how the Garner team lasted as long as they did , all while receiving glowing reports on their efforts to bring Norton back , from any and all media who wrote them up …..

It never sold !

With new Norton offering the £10,000 px deal to SG V4 owners, I got ponderin’ …

For those who want a motorcycle, to ride and enjoy, or those wanting to get their money back (take the deal and sell the new one) taking the offer is a no brainer IMHO.

But… from a collectors perspective, it seems to me that the original SG V4s will therefore becoming incredibly rare. I’m thinking that in future years they might be quite desirable to collectors, with values that reflect that?

Not that it affects me in any way, and if I had one I’d still definitely go for the px deal. I was jus’ pondering’

I'd be surprised if the current owners will live long enough to see their bikes appreciate.....
But the again, (IMHO, of course) rarity alone doesn't guarantee desirability. However old or rare it is it's still of no more use than an ornament...
