Pinstripe

Does anyone know of a source for a gold double pinstripe tape with the clear space in the middle to replicate The Commando pin striping?
Maybe you could save me hours on the internet searching.

Try ebay with this search in UK : "NORTON COMMANDO 750 SIDE PANEL STICKERS/DECALS WITH PIN LINES (GOLD)"
Seller is Blue Dolphin Decals in Cambridge UK.
But they only seem to do decals for 750s and in gold.

Actually is says in very big writing "also avalable for 850", I need stronger glasses !!!
And some other decals are in other colours so may be available for Commandos as well.

I did check that out. They were for side cover decals with the pinstripe. I have that. What I need is the double 1/8" 1/8" 1/8" gold pinstripe for the tank. Thanks

I found double pin stripe tape in a motor factors clearance bin (iirc Allwoods in Licoln or Newark) , it's not an exact match but close enough for me & it cost almost nothing(sadly Nellie is not exactly concours); unfortunately I can't help you out because I'm just about to get my tank repainted (thanks to the shop that messed it up!).

I would suggest that if you are not an absolute stickler for correctness you also try looking at car (ugh, wash my mouth out) detailing pinstripe? I'm in the office, but will check the size & post when I get home tonight (the tape does make it tricky to get the curve on the sidepanel, mine is a little too angular - but that's going to be re-done with the tank)

OK, pin stripe measurements are 1/8, 1/8, 1/16 (Gold, clear, Gold)

I have been searching the net for several evenings and sometimes at work. I cannot find any 1/8", 1/8", 1/8" gold. However 1/16", 1/8", 1/8" gold is quite common and readily available. I went to look at the 2 repainted tanks that are on a shelf in my showroom at work and found that one of them has the 1/16", 1/8", 1/8". I had this tank repainted 10 years ago and am a little embarrassed to admit that I had never noticed the difference. I guess I am going to settle for that, and quit my whining.
