Piking - not in this pub you don't!

Here in Texas, the un-esoteric drink light beer .... the thought is it allows more beer units (cans, bottles, etc) to be consumed before getting drunk, and the higher that number of units, the more the drinking prowess.

Real men, however, do not drink light beer, because like having sex on the beach, it is fu**ing close to water.

I have always drank XXXX heavies (use to be 4.9% ALC ) and I still drink altought its is down to 4.6% ALC all of my mates that I have been drinking with for most of my life are now all drinking XXXX gold 3.3% ALC, I can't stand it as it taste like water to me and I think my mates are all a bunch of sheilers and I do let them know, I have also got a taste for Copper's stourt 6.3% ALC what a lovely beer but you got to watch it as it can kick you in the head (read my story of what happened in the shed last night) but I have also been to parties and some of my mates are piking it because they don't want to upset their wives or they will turn the tap off (no sex) what a bunch of girls, I don't go to pub to drink much these days as it cost so much, I alway have a full beer fridge up in the shed and if the mates want to come around for a beer or 2 many all great as there is always a bed to crash or my wife will take them home when they can't walk no more (she is well trained my wife) but now I am semi retired from the work force I am enjoying a few beers mid week to my wife's displeasure and when she lets me know "it's Tuesday and your having a beer and its only 9am" I always turn around and say "every day is a Saturday to me my dear" life is great for me at the moment, but I don't feel sorry for my mates that are piking it because they let their wivies rule the roost and if they don't come around for a beer I am still happy to entertain myself up in my shed with my favorite things (bikes, beer fridge, music and my 2 cattle dogs to keep me company.
