Phil Aynsley on the 1975 Challenge P86

There's one in the Barber Museum, although I think it's one of the later, updated versions with a different chassis than the factory example.

Its TWO CYLINDERS of a DFV Cosworth . The worlds winningest Grand Prix engine .

Retard stuffed the Quantel ( rider ) at the first Daytona.

Govt. Stuffed the Project , in 75 .

A bit of a dunger , but not half the pice of #^ the averge Jap Cr*p was then .

Later DFVs were 90 bore , as was the Quantel. Apparently Cosworth had multitudinous phone calls after Daytona from people wanting to buy one .

The tooling was Long Gone .

360 degree set up was so the road bike could run a single SU for EMISSIONS . That being a point of hysteria at that time, impending regulations .

A Fully supported Crankshaft in the same holes in the metal , would be the equal of anything today . If a turkey didnt do the drawings . :p
