Paint/Powdercoat Inventory

I'm putting the pile together for refinishing. Side stand is new so not going to redo it.

Am I missing anything?

Yokes = Silver.

Rear brake plate = Black
Head steady bracket if OEM...

There are 2 parts for the rear light. As before, forks top and bottom, clips, brake drum?, brake plate, 2 side panel clips unless you are leaving them on the frame, horn bracket, my rear fender mounts on that curved strap that goes between the upper shock mounts.

Yup, yokes will be silver but I can powdercoat those myself.

Rear brake plate: will add that to the pile.

Headsteady: will be making my own.

Here's my inventory again less the frame, found the brake lever

upper, lower yokes, clips - silver
side panel brackets
horn bracket
front rear fender mount
brake drum
brake cover
2 rear light brackets
front engine mount
rear brake lever
kickstand and lug
engine cradle
headsteady bracket if used

Anybody have an issue coating the drum/rear final chain drive??

Flo,

Your rug looks better than mine. Did you polish the yokes? Mine has a bunch of stampings in it, but then maybe that is the difference between the early (69) and the 71 models. I notice your spindle is on the upper yoke, mine is from the bottom one.

Yokes are 1973 850 Mk.1
Carpet is excess from having 2 rooms carpeted in the house.
The paint is a silver metallic, then clear coated with 2 pack clear laquer.
I do all my own painting as I either can't find anybody to do it to my satifaction, or it is too expensive. After all it is a hobby,
(obsession) & I enjoy it.
I don't particularlly like using this new paint, it was originally synthetic paint, but my local paint shop told me it was now unavailable. Because it is metallic, I can't flatten it before it is clear coated. Should hopefully be tough though.
