Just got a new warning light assimilator from norvil. Its a small black box rather than the cylindrical item that was on the bike. It has 3 wires red, black and white :? . Now which wires do I join them to on the bikes harness which are red, white/brown, green/yellow.

Any ideas?

Red probably goes to ground, brown/white to the warning light, green/yellow to the alternator. When the alternating current gets up to 6 volts or so the box opens the grounding brown/white circuit to the warning light, which douses the light.

I'd ask Norvil for a diagram confirming this

Unless anyone here knows for sure, I suggest you call Norvil on Monday and ask them-as they should've included instructions as it is possible that type of solid state unit could be triggered by DC voltage and not by AC output (like the original assimilator)-so there's a possibility that it should not be connected to the AC output (green/yellow) wire?
