P11 and N15CS U.K. registration

There is for sale in the U.K. a 1967 P11 frame and also a 1967 N15CS frame and engine project.
My plan is to build the N15 parts (Norton engine, forks and hubs) into great P11 frame.
So two questions
What are my chances of getting an NOC Dating Letter ?
What are my chances of getting the bike registered by the DVLA ? (without a Q plate)
Obviously not looking to build a P11, just an interesting build

If you are an NOC member why not ask them the question? Personally, I doubt they would provide one.

The DVLA are much fussier now about handing out age related registration numbers. I'd say no chance without a dating certificate from somebody that the DVLA recognises as an authority, which means NOC or maybe VMCC.

As its a paid service you do not need to be a member of the NOC to ask before sending them your money. If they say yes then it will be dated on the youngest component and as long as all the major items are same period and Norton then you should be ok. But if the frame been imported and you have no NOVA cert then computer says NO.

Rebuilding the N15CS is easier, cheaper, and makes for a better road bike. For instance, improving forks and fitting disc brakes of a G/N15 is almost a straight forward job.

Fitting Norton forks and hubs to a P11 chassis means irreversible modifications (if possible at all), which would be a shame. There is also the question of legality and road safety.
The P11 works and looks best using its original components, IMO.
