Does anyone know the thread size for the cable adjuster in the outer gearbox cover on the Atlas/Dominator? The commando outer cover is not threaded and has no adjustment there but the Atlas does and I assume the Dominator uses the same outer gearbox cover.

Thanks

Dave

The dominator ones were actually 1/4" Cycle thread,
although the difference between that and 1/4" BSF is only the thread angle.
They are near enough to be interchangeable for most purposes.
(Technically BSF and Cycle thread are different though.)

The Atlas did use some BSF threads though, so maybe the clutch adjuster did become BSF on the Atlas.
Under AMC ?

I use this cable for my 650SS and it's a perfect fit.

As said earlier, 1/4" BSF and 1/4" Cycle Thread are as good as interchangeable.

Some combinations might produce a slightly loose fit, if you mix-n-match bits, especially used bits.
