Love that shift lever and the points cover on the timing cover.
Semi-Classic stuff.

Quite like the gold pinstripe on the carbon wheels! Wonder how easy that is to do! They are not as pretty as the original wire wheels of course, so some marginal beautification may be just the ticket!

Get yourself a Dagger brush and put your bike on a paddock stand. Then steady your hand against the bike and slowly spin the wheel.

If you do that, you can justifiably call the bike a "Dreer" tribute bike.
The bike in the promo is a Dreer 961 prototype, not a Donnington 961.

I once visited the old Rolls Royce factory at Crewe and watched a guy paint the pinstripe all down the side of a Rolls, walking slowly....and then did a second coat, of course.

Are you mad V2D3! Me, with an artists paint brush, and real paint, on my beautiful carbon wheels!!?
What could possibly go wrong - might as well give the job to a monkey with a tooth brush!

Methinks gold pinstripe decals might be a little less risky  !

But you’re right, I’ll probably f@#k it up! But nothing ventured……… n’ all that!

Depending on the price of the pinstripe, might be worth sacrificing a few for everyone you get on properly.
Then you will have custom BST wheels!
Pity those with only standard ones!

The wheels have a clear coat on them. The pin stripe paint doesn’t have a hardner.

If you don’t like, use mineral spirits to remove it.

Trust me, it’s not that hard.

Try it on your dirt bike first :D

You’ll spend more time and more frustration using the pin stripe tape.
Tape is cheap.

I was going to follow up your detailed post with explaining to you can use a paint like One Shot lettering enamel but then I recall what rabbit hole that would send it down and people would want charts, graphs, and videos....:)
😂 But you already mentioned it so be prepared
