I bought my bike new in 75, but I don't remember everything I did to it as a kid. I have these plug wires that I think came on the bike.
They have Champion on the caps, and the color is a very dark green. Are these original?
Thanks,
Jaydee

Original Mk3 Spark Plug Wires?

Original Mk3 Spark Plug Wires?

I have a hard time remembering myself, but the end caps "feel" correct while the wires do not - I don't remember green, or that they had suppression labeling. 99% sure the wires were black on my Candy Red '75 Roadster.

Based on the posts below, my recollections aren't to be trusted.

I'm pretty sure that they're original as it looks as if the leads in the brochure pics are greenish. I've had a pair so at some time they were being supplied as Commando fitment anyway.

However, as someone once pointed out, string doesn't conduct electricity so best to keep them as a display item.

I have a low miles Mk3 that to the best of my knowledge is unmolested.....ruined by poor storage and corrosion, but original as far as I can tell.

The plug leads and caps are identical to those in your photo.....and they work just fine.
