I have watched various people order various parts with varying results! The general news is that things are improving. Here's my story!

I decided I wanted to order an oil pressure switch, even though I solved my issue without it. I sent a detailed e-mail to Norton which Mr. Callum Doyle responded to in less then 45 minutes. He said that if I sent my address, which I did, he would have accounting raise me an invoice. I then went on vacation'

I returned on Monday 08/0717 to find that Valerie from accounting had indeed sent an invoice, shipping or carriage as she called it was more then the part but I expected that. I paid the invoice and my part was shipped Tuesday 8/08. I received the part at work 2 1/2 days later UPS Saver though I gave them my home address!

I would rate this transaction 5 stars, communication was also excellent despite the address mixup!

I have to give credit where credit is due also.

Prompt replies, ordering, back ordering with time estimates.
All done professionally for me.

With average of 3-4 days delivery to the 'Great Southern Land'.

My local dealer (KTM) is flabbergasted and is looking at getting a 961 based on favourable prices, Richard's awesome manuals and parts support.

I could double the numbers to my riding club in a couple of weeks.

I agree. Dealing with Callum and Valerie is a joy. Problem is, their suppliers are hitting the skids and the parts I need have an indefinite delay.

The plastic rear tyre hugger started to break up on my 961 Sport. Callum replied to a replacement enquiry promptly and the new part was much less cost than expected. Once paid, delivery to rural France was received the next day.

Excellent service!

Considering my recent experience ordering Norton parts through my dealer, I will order direct from the factory in the future as well.
