WQXR in Newark will occasionally broadcast live from the Met, Otello a few weekends ago. Nice for a Saturday afternoon.
Girlfriend hates it, but she hates switched-on Bach so her taste is not to be trusted.

I grew up in the Meadowlands area, friends and I would listen from the parking lot when BS came in, too young to afford tickets.
Did you come all the way from Canada?
 
Yes , my wife and I came down for his last stand ... pretty awesome , couldn’t hear first couple numbers as the crowd was standing and singing .... like I said very close to religious experience .... stayed at the hotel Marriott? across the highway from the stadium ... we heard first show from the balcony the second night we had tickets , that was a while ago , and memorable for sure .....Bruce had a guy coming on stage regularly with a 5gal. pail of water and he would just throw it on him .....
