You can get a super big image of the second photo by following the link. I've got this movie in my Netflix queue already, although I don't know when it will be released on DVD.

it's an OK movie (if you like the small Canadian places) but be forwarned, it has a cruelsome ending (for the Norton)
nevertheless , my wife and I did enjoy it...

This is a clip I just uploaded from a movie made in Ibiza by an Italian film director. The plot called for a Norton Commando to be ridden & crashed by the central character in the movie. A friend of mines lives there , has a Commando, when the director saw him he asked him to play the part (he dies in the opening sequence) BTW the moustache and hair are his, not props!! The good thing is the bike didn't actually get damaged unlike in one week!!

sorry to hear your friend died in the movie, but you're right, the important thing is his Norton wasn't damaged

I met a guy who worked on the film last week. I've heard the shop that prepared the bike is called Highway Cycle, outside of Hamilton Ontario.

I know an oil patch on a straight road will not upset a motorcycle, but are most movie goers duped by such ignorance? Why didn't the director or writer put the oil patch in a curve next to a cliff, this way even I would beleive it...

Hey I didn't write the script

Anyway my mate wasn't bothered he got well paid for 5 minutes of riding his bike! 8)

Watch it again carefully and notice the bike is leaned over slightly while riding through the oil. If the bike was upright I'd agree it probably would be ok, but leaned over might be more disastrous.

Maybe he should have run Avons!

O.K. So I send the wife to go get some DVD's for the weekend, She asked what would I like to see. I remember reading this topic and tell her to get the movie One Week, She returns with a few and I pop One Week in. Half way thru this thing I can see this is not the movie you all are speaking of as it is about this couple that is getting married and one week before they are to marry the groom finds out he may have the HIV virus. I won't tell you anymore as I guess you may want to see this movie, Damn I thought maybe this guy is going to make a run for it on his Norton, NO. No bikes what so ever!

Wrong movie. Unfortunately there's 2 movies with the same title. Get the one that has a Norton in the background on the cover.
The guy is still dying but it's of cancer and he goes riding across the country on his Norton.
