Love to see theres thrill seekers everywhere more involved than moi. That many small metal screws so close are only good on rather smooth ice w/o much snow or mud to cake into over nullifying the bite. I dont expect to encounter ice fields or lakes but do know the real deal are bolted down 1.5-2 inch long spikes with enough space between to shed snow/ice/mud and get some thrust by the sling out mass and help vectoring aim. I have my own pasture and plenty bigger around so do want to try them on knobbies and sand dunes with paddle tire but have left provision on next Peel for a 2nd rear wheel/suspension for a number of reasons, one being to fit a snow track to blast up/dn and around snow 6 inches to a few feet deep. Peel will have sharp spikes, real thorns and knife edges as more threatening than those metal screws so must keep alert or bleed. I have some PSTD flash backs of deer skuls brain hanging so one side in spasm and the other side trying to espace or guts hanging out next to me deer making same guggles for last breath heart ony vibrrating as me, so cycling is a blood sport even being careful which nulifies logic against going out and only hurting yourself and cycle. Mastery of riding is something I want to apporach before I cant.
