Old tools still in use

My father insisted that do all the work on my bicycles and he gave the channel lock pliers when I was about 6 or 7. It is the only tool he ever gave me, and he would not allow me to use his tools. I still use them, but I have much better ones, so I don't use them a lot.

The Triumph tool is by far my favorite tool. It's the only thing I have left of my 66 Triumph 500 that was stolen. It was the only tool in the tool pouch when I bought the bike in 1968. It is, by far, the best tool I've ever used on AMAL banjo bolts, and it fits so many things on older bikes. The surprising thing is that to still works well and I can get tight things loose and can tighten things well. I searched for years for a second one and finally found one on eBay last month. It's identical to this one but it's rusty. I think that I've used it on every bike I've ever worked on!
