That's gorgeous!
Tpeever: what sort of rear turn signal lights are those? My '74 has round ones on long horizontal stalks that look like snails' antennae. I think they are stock. Yours are neater looking.

Thanks!! I like the cleaner look as well. The '74 stock taillight is very ugly IMHO.
It was a while ago when I put that taillight assembly together but believe I bought the signals as well as the slick alloy brackets for the lights from Old Britts. The lights are just cheap Chinese parts that are easily found at places like J&P Cycle, Bike Bandit or any of the other major online parts dealers. You can also get these lights with oval lenses that also look good on Commandos if your prefer oval to square.
Here's a taillight assembly I made for a Moto Guzzi 850T that I restored. Made my own brackets (not nearly as nice as Fred's!!), used a trailer light assembly mounted on the stock CEV frame and used small oval signals from J&P Cycle
The Old Brits tail light arrived a while ago guys, very nice it is too. I got around to fitting it today, its far better than the stock job, especially for the 'minimalist look' doncha think:
