I did use this oil priming tool today and you are correct , the force required to move oil into the port is quite high. I could only get 4 ounces thru, which satisfied me. Mk3 started with fast oil flow return to tank , maybe 10 seconds.
Might be beneficial to immerse the full syringe in hot water / preheat the oil to help the oil flow easier ? Not Norton of course but I do this when manually pumping EP90 gear oils etc and it helps.
