no but you can still get very neat looking Smiths gauges.. You then need another double banjo and you can push the narrow bore tubing to the P.G. inside the pipe from the BJ...seal it woth araldite or if you must a small bore clip. Mine has worked well since the mid 70s

Back in the 70s a friend of mine worked a car parts store and gave me a brand new 100 psi Smith oil gauge, perfect match to my speedo and taco, I have all the fittings to mount it and made a mounting bracket to sit in between my gauges but it still sits on my display cabinet with all my other bits and pieces I like looking at, one day I will put it on the Norton, one day.

Andy, appreciate the reply & link. I'll look into their gauge.

Just had a quick look at their site, are the fittings 'push fit' style? and is the oil line plastic? Any problems with leaks from your setup?
I had one of these on my Commando. Where the line pushed into the fitting that the banjo bolt passes through it blew off. Now I purchased my kit some time ago and I was lucky to catch it before my oil tank was drained. Ruined my boots and a pair of pants. I won't be recommending this set up.

I tried "push in" fittings when fitting an "idiot" light to my Atlas. In short, a failure.

The line was 5/32" dia. nylon, only 4" long, but nevertheless, i suppose vibration caused enough flexing to allow oil to pass the internal O ring. I also tried "push in" fittings with 1/8" aluminum tubing, and that was even worse.

It is the oil line integrity that keeps me from considering an oil gauge on my Atlas. If only I could find an electrical sending unit in a small package, then I would reconsider.

It would be better to have a sender close to the engine and the pressure sent electrically to the gauge. Running these pipes at full pressure up to the handlebars leaves a long route for a leak to develop, and any pressure loss also occurs at the big end. Madass's unit is in the right place but is on/off, a version with a graduated output would work.

I have this on my Trident. Big face on gauge is nice. It uses a plastic hose which I dont really like but no problems with it over five years. Recently changed the line to AN-3 out of paranoia. No reason with a double banjo on the head you couldnt put it on a Commando.
Mind that this is a stateside vendor.
