Oil Leak from Tacho Drive

I have an oil leak froim my tacho drive that makes quite a mess. The 15mm (?) bolt was loose but it leaks after tightening.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so how was it fixed?

Hi Tony,

There's a tach drive mod available. It requires machining of the drive housing to accept a new oil seal.

You may need a cable housing. Mine leaked. Oil is pushed up into the cable housing by engine pressure and if the housing is not sealed where it joins the boot, leaks all over the place.
