Is it me? A short while ago I could swear I viewed Oil filters to suit a 961 on e.bay. Now I want one there are none to be found, unless of course you use the factory or a main dealer which of course is not a real problem its just that I'm beginning to doubt my sanity. :|
 
Hello Norty2 , No , Its not you they have disappeared. But there is a MANN FILTER replacement. HU610X this is the Mercedes Benz replacement for Bosch 1 457 429 147 or just Bosch 9147 for short. Go to europarts.com and do a search for MANN FILTER HU610X . I have been holding this information because I didn't want to seem like I was pulling business away from the dealers. But MANN FILTER HU610X is what I use . And the price is so amazingly low , like 6 USD . If its not in stock they can order it for you , buy a case . So there you go ! Pass this on man !

Thank you Tony. I can come off the medication now. Will source a Mann filter.
