Lots more to see than this one...
Norvile New Commandos

Just hope that the Newbies don't get suckered into the Norvil trap.

A friend of mine bought a "new" norton, he was very disappointed with the workmanship demonstrated on the bike, he sold it on at a loss and the new owner had to have have the heads rebuilt.
This was on a zero miles bike.

Much better to buy a half decent Norton and get someone who knows what they are doing (Norman White)to restore the bike to your spec.

Will probably cost less than a Norvil.

I bought a pair of pushrods for my ES2 engine, and when they arrived, they were different lengths.

I phoned Norvil and politely asked for a replacement, and after three weeks wait, they sent me a second set (which they charged postage for)

They were different sizes to the first lot, and the ends were not glued on properly.

I had planned on knocking an end off, cut the pushrod down to the correct length then refitting, which was when I discover the rod was solid not tubular.

Solid = Bendy, so not good!!!!

What is that? Longrange fastback MKIII 'S'? Too bad it didn't have the R side panels. That red frame is gauche.

given the obvious error here, gotta wonder why this (1 of only 2) commentary is included on the page
However I already heard this comment and agree that a 360 et quite different from a 180 crankshaft. Back on the 70s it was already noticeable that a CB450 and Yam 650 sounded different than a Bonneville or Commando. I am with you on that
