Hi
Trying to get my winter hack back on the road. It has been through many guises some awful but cheap. I then picked up a proddie tank & seat!!!
Ha ha I hear you say. Well its been standing for a while as I am stunned by the fact that I have to fold the top seam of the oil tank to allow the tank & seat to sit properly. I am getting my friend to do this later this week. However I cant find any detail as to how the rear of the seat fixes? It has the 2 crude prongs that slide under the frame tube & a hole in the back of the seat for a druz fastner? I managed to buy the bracket & bolted it on to the mudguard but RGM did not have the rest. Is there a rubber spacer set up to keep the glass of the frame tubes & mudguard? What else is involved ie the druz fastner. Any spares list drawings (lab?)
Thanks Chris

Folding the top seam of the oil tank isn't enough. (I did it after I've bought mine). The best way is to grind the top seam away and to weld up the gap.
According to the previous owner of my bike -who used to race with prody's in the 70ies, they didn't fix the seat. (so neither do I). There should be a appropriate screw though but I wouldn't recommend it. After a while, your seat could look like this:
