Fullauto head, I would just love another one, I doubt if my stock crank does though. The motor spins up oh so fast it's lovely!!

How much extra stress on a stock crank are we talking?

I spoke with Les at Norvil today. He tells me that they offer new manufacture 850 cylinder heads in RH4 or RH10. Has anyone here purchased one or otherwise have knowledge of the quality etc?

Thanks,
Ed
Put it this way I love my commando I'd marry it if I could and I will be buried with it,but if the the only place in the world to get commando spares was from norvil I'd give up riding!!!

Thanks for the update i guess AN will have stock in September / October
Just out of curiosity is there likely to be supply issues going forward or will you be holding a buffer stock ?

Maybe I got the wrong impression but it looks like you are looking for a Fullauto head. I assume besides AN there are more suppliers around the globe with possible stock. Perhaps Fullauto is willing to list these suppliers

Sorry, nobody seems to have any. A long time between drinks.

Not quite, HNW still can supply a Fullauto 850 head or an original 750 and 850 head.

I fitted my head as an experiment to a relatively standard bike, MK3 standard gearbox, 19T front sprocket, and nothing else changed at the the time. When caning it away from the lights, it is far quicker through the gears than with the standard head - very noticeably so. With the standard head it seemed that the engine lagged the throttle, now it is instantaneous. The bike gets treated like I stole it so If I blow it up, I'll just fix it and use some other nice improvements to go with the head. The change was made in one day on the bike, so no time lag in remembering what it was like, ride home Friday, next morning fit head and ride it in the afternoon, ideal.

Do yourself a favour. Next time it's down, fit a PW3 cam and go up to a 21 tooth sprocket. Then, tell us what you think. The cam made as much difference as the head right through the rev range. The combination is outstanding.

For those of us who can only dream of a fullauto head may I suggest a quick opening throttle on a stock motor. Much bang for the buck. I have one on my Atlas and Commando and I really like it. Perhaps it is only an illusion of more power but I really enjoy them.
