I find it hard to understand why they got this award as they just bought most of the bike & bolted it together! What do I know though?

Not very PC “Nortoniggy", in this day and age you get an award for failure in case you go to bed crying you eyes out.
I Knew they would screw it up :!: :(

If anyone could just 'buy the bits and bolt it together' and win a TT then we'd all have lots of winged Hermes on the mantelpieces, wouldn't we... ?

Mighty effort to just get there, and then to have a rider who is capable of tackling that course fast enough to qualify is another mighty effort.....

Did I hear the race was then washed out, first in the history of the TT - is just such a letdown...

P.S. the electric bikes have broken the 100 mph lap mark, the way of the future ??

It just seems misguided to me to waste time, money & effort on this when there are people still waiting for road bikes that they have paid for. Turning up to compete in one of the toughest races, machinery wise, in the world with an untested bike is at best ambitious but more realistically is stupid. Judging by it's posted practice times (114 mph best lap) it would have been considerably slower than the superstock bikes (129mph best lap) which are virtually standard showroom bikes. Ian Mackman himslef lapped at 121mph on his Supersport 600cc bike.

Apparently they had a few visits from people who were at the TT & waiting for their new bikes. If I was one of them I'd have been pretty annoyed about it.
