norton tranny seals

hi guys i have lost my book with all my seal numbes in it any way i am looking for the seal numbers to fix the kick start shaft and the shiter shaft if any one has them i have 2 giant leakers hear i have to fix thanks for your help ironjohn any one can e mail me at ironjohnent@shaw.ca
 
Afraid I dont know the specific seal numbers to your question. However,for what its worth regarding the kickstart seal. Some years ago I had various attempts at producing an effective seal and (Dont ask me how) in the end I cut the end off of a condom, rolled it up, (As opposed to down :roll: ) and placed it in the gearbox cover recess and with care, placed over the kickstart shaft !!
Seven years and still no leaks through the spline. Soft, durable latex. Worked for me :eek:
 
hi sounds like a fix any way thay have seals that u machen out the cases and thay work grate i did not want have to look them up it was a pain to find them the 1'st time i was hoping some one had them handey so i would not have to go to all the books again thanks john
 
hi thay are the ones i had a conversion to chicogo raw hide i think it was sael number 9815 and 6105 but cant find my book it was all in there thanks john
