Good morning, I have a Norton N15CS 1967, orange but not original file, the fund has traces of blue, someone has a photo of this color ?
thanks

Norton-Matchless had blue and green as optional colors for the N15/G15, P11A and G80CS. The blue for an N15CS should look like this:

Norton N15cs

G80CS in blue
Norton N15cs

blue P11A in a line of red P11s

Your N15 fuel tank would look identical to the P11A above - same badge and same stripe.

Not many N15s were made in blue. That color was associated with AJS, and their 33CSR (sister to the N15CS) was available with blue oil tank and toolbox with a chrome fuel tank, but the last few sold had the same fuel tank as the N15CS

Of the roughly 5000 N15/G15/33 variants made, about half were the Norton G15CS 'N' and N15CS. Perhaps 2000 were Matchless G15CS, G15CSR, and G15MkII. Maybe 500 were AJS 33, and 33CSR, and a handful of Atlas 750SS (the Norton version of the CSR in 1968). I've looked for a couple years for hard numbers on these variants, but apparently they don't exist. On top of that, badges were swapped on some of these bikes in the interest of making a sale (I've seen two G15CS bikes titled and badged as Norton).

here's a pic of the green:

Nice old lathe in the background and lovely bike as well.

Can you point to any further details of this bike ?

In the early 1960s, the Atlas was being referred to as this,
but by the time it appeared it was called an Atlas.

Those tires on that green bike look a bit rugged on the road !?
Nice bike, BTW. Looks great in that color.

I was mistaken about the year. According to Tony Curzon, AMC sent a bunch of G15CSRs to Berliner in 1966. Berliner couldn't sell all of them as Matchless, so re-badged a number of them as Norton, and called them the 750SS. Not to be confused with the original name for the Atlas or the later Commando 750SS.

They would have looked like this, except with an 'N' badge on the tank

You can find the original ad in the internet for the 1966 Atlas 750SS. I can't link to it, because it's for sale, but it is the bike above with a Norton badge.

Numbers on the hybrids are difficult to pin down, because they could have been sold by the dealers as Norton, Matchless, or AJS by swapping badges. I guess some dealers could even change the variant by swapping parts.

The version with the most variations is the CSR. Some years they had big fenders, some years small; large or small chrome tank, or scrambler tank; flat bars or apehangers, large or small seat. some years had lots of chrome, in the end almost none. The CSRs were mainly for the home market, except for that big batch that came over in '66.

Thank you all, you saved me, my mechanic had irreparably damaged the color, the only thing clear was under the tire but too damaged to determine the color :D

Sorry for my English but I use google translator ....
I try to post a photo of mine, was registered in March 1967 in Italy and is in excellent condition, I bought the fender and the original lighthouse and also the electrical controls, to complete I need is the exact color
