I was browsing Ebay and found this chopper frame for Norton drivetrain. item# 111020185419. Its a plunger frame made by Denver Choppers. I am in no way "connected" with this sale. I just like to dream of unique projects. I have built several Evo chppers over the years and have had some experience with Denver choppers. "Mondo" of biker build-off series owns Denvers I think. I know Eddie Hernendez worked there back when I bought one of his springer front ends. His welds are legendary!
Anyway, it is hard for me to tell if the Norton Isolastics would fit this frame so I could put an original cradle in this frame? Front mounts look alittle high? Also I have never seen a softail suspension done like that...kinda neat. Description says frame has no ID numbers on it. Would be hard to register. If you had a legal, registered Norton, I guess you could do a frame swap and run the donor's plates?
Lastly, it might be lens distortion, but frame may not be straight..looks kinda slanted to the right behind tank area? Maybe not. I do like how the foot controls are attached to the frame.
Could be a fun project.....I must ponder further.
