NORTON by Auto Fabrica

Might look more than a bit swish but I don't think it's going anywhere fast with that one small carb. With the battery and oil tank gone, what's with curving it off to the left anyway? Maybe "because they can"?

Looks like oil in frame (pretty sure I can see two filler caps), and a tiny battery could be hidden somewhere.

Its definitely ‘minimalistic’ and there is some nice execution.

But yeah, the ‘form over function‘ of that carb and manifold design is a real turn off for me too.

The oil tank supply appears to be in the tail section...yes...the induction is strange alright and for all that room created...and for purely looks 2 splayed carbs would have given it balance...the rear brake lever looks difficult to use as well 😕
I do like the cosmetics as far as tank seat tail section...so it ain't jaw dropping for me in a good way

and it needs a 6 inch block to make the sidestand work.
Why no shots from the primary side?
I often use blocks under the kickstand when photographing bikes, because I appreciate STRAIGHT SIDE-ON photos, rather than tipped, tilted, slanted, or especially CROPPED images of bikes.

As to the finished bike's "look", it must fall under "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", as ALL custom bikes, and almost ANY bike falls under. No two random people will have the same opinion of ANY given bike.

My personal opinion is useless, so I won't state it.

I suggest is sometimes better to allow function to dictate form. A motorcycle can look beautiful until you try to use it in anger. Then it might start to look ugly and need fixing.

Like it or not there is a lot of quality fabrication going on.
I particularly like the rear Hub and could use it on mine.
Most of the other stuff is for style.
Yes that rear hub and brake drum is quite nice...so is the tank and seat design arrangement for this type of show bike...
