Norton 500 domi

Quite like that. I've done the same to my front hub and 2sl brake plate to make it look a bit "Manxy"

Bernard, that's a lovely looking bike, how have you attached the mesh for the ventilation holes in the front drum?

I think you have misunderstood, it’s not my bike and this was at the British bike Sunday at CMC, Clay Cross motorcycles.
Wire gauge I think is the commonly available “Fly Mesh” available in well stocked hardware stores.
P.S. there are a load more British bikes on their Facebook page.

I used black silicone (clear would do) and held them in place with clothes pegs of all things until it cured. All from the inside of course.

Thanks Dommie, i have thought of using small self tapping screws like the ones that hold the decorative cover on the rear hub, but I'm interested in how others solve this problem.

I cut the mesh to fill between the webs then applied silicone inside the hub and held down with the pegs clipped onto the web. It's been there 3 years now.
The mesh on the brake plate is a one piece item held with screws which came already fitted.
