No spark

Turn the key back on and no ignition light. All the other lights work so I’m at a loss as to why this happened
It's really a charge warning lamp of sorts as it only tells you if there's some AC power leaving the stator when it goes off it doesn't tell you if the system is charging or not and is not connected to the other lights.

In addition to the ignition light not working, his bike would not start.

The ignition light and ignition circuits are fed from the same white power wire while the horn and lights are from another circuit.
I sent him a troubleshooting PM for this that might uncover the problem and point to the cause somewhere along one wire!

You can check if the bike is charging by checking AC volts off the alternator or DC volts at the battery. If charging, is the bulb simply burned out. I've connected mine to an oil pressure switch so it illuminates on low oil pressure.

With the aid of Dennismo who was kind enough to spent a great deal of time walking me through some troubleshooting steps, we got it to run. No obvious smoking gun but possibly intermittent failure of white wire from ignition switch to ballast resistor. Lots of cobbling together of wires on this bike as it has been through a few hands. Ignition light is still off but confirmed that bulb is good. We were concentrating on getting the bike running but
I’ve since found that.
White wire to indicator light is hot with key on.
Bulb is good.
W/P wire from indicator light to assimilator is good.
G/W wire from assimilator to rectifier is good.
’That’s as far as I’ve gotten.

Should be white/brown wire.

There isn't one there should be a green/yellow to the stator and a red to earth/ground.The stator wire mybe connected at the rectifier. No spark
You’re right LAB it is white/brown. Green/yellow looks like green/ white but all the colors are really faded it’s hard to tell. At the rectifier I see a little yellow but there is continuity between them.
