Andover part is 06-1093, or a couple of wraps of electrical tape before pulling the wires into position seems to do the trick., as would the silicone i imagine.
 
British machines were designed by annoying old blokes to annoy young blokes trying to do anything on them , Thats why ones for monkeys became popular .

Silicone seals it fine
