Nicky Hayden seriously injured.

He also has a broken pelvis and leg, both of which will be healed before he is aware of either.
 
Latest word is Nicky Hayden has passed away. They probably kept him on life support long enough for his family to arrive.

All of this has been devastating news. I've been a fan of the Hayden's for quite a while. Nicky has always been a great competitor and a real gentleman.
I've also been following this news closely since I first read about it earlier this week and I hadn't heard what you are reporting. Please site your source.
My prayers are with the Hayden family and my heart goes out to Nicky's fans.

The person who messaged me pores over Facebook and also knows a local retired racer who knows the Haydens. Trying to find out which is the source. I heard from another that it was fake news.
 
Maybe an hour ago, Wikipedia had said he had passed away but that has now been changed to "is in a medically induced coma".
 
This is sad news indeed. Nicky was one of the best and someone who was always a class act.
