My father-in-law is coming to live with us. To keep him occupied, I'm bringing home a new project next month:

Its a P11A, mostly all there (there are couple of other boxes, along with the gas tank, oil tank and seat). I had the pick between that and a G12 Deluxe, and it really wasn't a hard choice.

Once I bring it home, I'll start a photo record of the refurb.

I resized the pics deleted one and added two. Now you can see it is definitely a P11A, as it has the clipped rear fender of the P11/P11A, and the '68 taillight with the side reflectors. As I understand it, the P11 had a short seat, with a fiberglass molded mud guard in the seat pan, replacing the front of the rear fender. The P11A had a longer seat, but kept the 'glass pan. The Ranger changed the seat pan, which meant a full rear fender.
The top pic shows the G12 in the background, with a couple of Triumph projects in between

That is a priceless "before" picture, with the bits in a crate.

That should make a cool "time waster" project for the better part of a year.

I'll also resize the pics so they're not clipped.

Don't resize just reply and add the smaller ones. I have to get to work so I can see them on the big monitor first.

It may be a Ranger as the pictures show finns on the wheel hubs, I beleive the p11 and p11a had smooth wheel hubs, i have previously owned a Ranger which is now in the possesion of a freind of mine a very rare bike.
