Just spotted this on the Norton website, AF1 Racing , 9900 North Interstate 35, Austin TX are now Norton Dealers, hopefully no more 2500 mile round trips to the nearest dealer for me.

I gotta say, that is dedication!

I cannot imagine having to do a 2500 mile round trip to a dealer.

But my perceptions on distance are undoubtably influenced by being British. Even if one takes a round trip from the two furthest parts of our United Kingdom you'd still do less than 2000 miles !

Wouldn't bother, save the gas - if the factory can't even get the spares to warranty repair bikes in the factory, then the dealers have no chance!!

Hi madnorton

Do you have a bike at the factory?

So far I've had no problem getting warranty spares, while my 961 was at the last dealer parts were sent via overnight delivery to USA

I've had parts arrive in New York 4 days after the order was placed. Don't order through the dealership. Call Norton directly.

Agreed, my parts showed up from the UK quicker than eBay shipments.
They come in fancy Norton tape, guaranteed.
If you need help, I'm in Denver and can assist if it's closer than 2500 miles.

Another vote for excellent service from Norton on sourcing and shipping parts.
They even tell me what the wait period would be if any.

My dealer said "they shouldn't do that because then they don't have parts when we ask for them"

I said "if you actually ordered the parts I requested then you would have them...".

If you just need parts (not a dealer/mechanic) to work on the bike please try Norton directly.

Hello Trevor , That's great news . A one way trip of say 125 miles is darn good. You can do that over lunch ! Go Norton ! Just wait until they have those V4's ripping it up around there ...

I would say yes . The website does not show Norton , maybe they never did ? They advertise a bunch of other brands KTM , Polaris , Vespa , Ducati , Triumph but no Norton. Britfan60 warranty must have taken the wind out of their sails ! No offense , It is a tough business . I bet if you lay money down they would order one , sales must be slow . Update , they have a 2015 that hasn't sold yet .
