New Member introduction

Hi all

I just bought a 1971 Commando, and thought I would introduce myself.

My second bike was a Mk III Roadster that I bought new, and never got it out of my system. My "new" bike is recently restored (still breaking in) and I look forward to many happy twisty miles and the care and devotion the Commando deserves.

This forum has already been a great help to me... thanks!

Welcome! Read up on the technical items at the top of the list about how to post images, and get some out there for all to see. We like pictures!

Welcome back on a Commando saddle but to say deserves attention makes me chuckle as I would say more like Required Attention. There's so many perfectly runing Commandos out there all over the world we've lost interest in them so are hungry for the few buggaboo's you might notice during next 1000 miles or so. There are so many reports of recoveries and restored Cdo's coming back on line, makes me think eventually will be more runing than were ever produced in their hey day.
